Selectmen unanimously approved a new three-year contract for Town Administrator Derek Sullivan on Monday night with a start date of July 1, 2019.

The contract promises Sullivan $170,000 for the first fiscal year with a 2.5 percent increase each following year. This means that Sullivan will receive $174,250 in the second year and $178,606.25 in the third year.

The contract will end June 30, 2022.

Sullivan began his position as Town Administrator back in 2012 and formerly served as the town’s financial analyst.

“I’m very excited to continue working with the town,” Sullivan said. “There’s a lot of great people here in Wareham.”
