Virginia E. Speck, 91, born July 25, 1920 in Brockton, joined our Lord September 1.

Virginia will be buried next to her three beloved sons, Sean, Vincent and David. Another beloved son, Larry Groom, also joined our Lord.

Virginia is survived by her brother, Wayne Lyon of Brockton, her sister, Patricia Dube of Arizona, and three children, Richard Groom of Oregon, Michael Groom of Plymouth, and Sandra Oehm of Fort Wayne, IN; along with 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Virginia loved animals and enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzles, and taking trips to day care. Virginia was able to see two of her grandchildren and three of her great-grandchildren prior to her passing.

A private graveside service will be held at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
