The 9th annual Rick Graham Diabetes Awareness Memorial Ride will bring motorcyclists from the Franklin Park Zoo in Dorchester to the Dudley L. Brown VFW in Onset on September 18.

Registration begins in Dorchester at 9:30 a.m. and the ride leaves for Onset at 11 a.m. The donation is $20 per rider/passenger and $10 for children under age 12.

The fundraiser will benefit the American Diabetes Association in memory of Graham, a Boston firefighter who died after suffering a diabetes-related heart attack while riding his bike.

The event will feature music, food, games, and raffles at the VFW.
