Dana M. Abbott, 48, of Wareham, MA, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at his home unexpectedly. 

Born in Wareham, he was the son of the late Carlton, Sr. and Sandra (Libert) Abbott. He was a professional painter. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing poker with his brothers.

Survivors include his brothers Carlton Abbott, Jr. of Belfast, Maine; Darren Abbott, Richard Abbott, Christopher Abbott and his wife Holly, and Michael Abbott and his wife
Barbara, all of Wareham; and Anthony Abbott and his wife Jessica of Rochester; his sisters, Barbara Abbott of Wareham and Nicole (Abbott) Gaucher and her husband, Chad of Lakeville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including his Goddaughter, Sophia Gaucher. He was preceded in death by his brother Stephen M. Abbott, and his sisters, Kimberly B. Abbott and Tania R. Abbott. 

Funeral services and burial will be private.
