CARVER – Annie T. (Teebagy) Shimp, 94, of Carver died Sunday, September 25, 2022 at her home in Carver. She was the wife of the late Leroy E. Shimp.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Charles & Margaret (Rawan) Teebagy. A previous resident of West Roxbury, she moved to Carver in 1999. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Shimp enjoyed trips to the casino, scratch tickets and giving her grandchildren candy. She also enjoyed baking and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Roberta Doyle and her husband William of Carver, Susan Reidy and her husband Paul, Mary E. Joyce and her husband Thomas all of Wareham, and Paul W. Shimp and his wife Deidre of Derry, NH; her grandchildren, Kristen Tucker, Ryan Doyle, Shannon Palmer, Brett Doyle, Shonna Calhoun, Melissa Ramos, Maegan Joyce Ortiz, Thomas Joyce, Shelby Gavilanes and Colton Shimp. Also surviving are 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, the late Thomas Teebagy, Mabel Haddad, George Teebagy, Andrew Teebagy, Elias Teebagy, Rizkallah Teebagy, Nicholas Teebagy and Mary Teebagy.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thurs., Sept. 29, 2022 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 6 – 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 30th at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1130 Falmouth Road, Centerville, MA. Interment will follow in Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne.
