Today our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of Bonnie (VanEtten) Whitney, who passed unexpectedly on 10/7/22 at 940 pm. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, dog mom and friend.

Bonnie was born on 9/27/1965 in Quincy, MA to Cynthia Wishart (Maxim). Bonnie spent her younger years in Waltham before settling down in Wareham, where she attended Upper Cape High School.

Bonnie was a proud mother of her son, Matthew. Bonnie enjoyed truck driving, the ocean where she could get lost in the freeness and she loved her dog, Lilly. Bonnie had a beautiful light and free spirit about her that was bar none. Everyone that knew her would say she had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. 

Bonnie in your journey to Heaven, we hope you are reunited with mom, and other family and friends who have entered the gates of Heaven. We hope that you have found peace. Please know that you are loved and will forever be missed. We love you. Until we meet again.

Survivors include her son, Matthew Whitney of Carver, MA, her sister Jamie VanEtten of Bourne, MA, her brother Robbie VanEtten of Yarmouth, MA, her sister Jodie Maxim of Land O Lakes, FL, her nephew Lincoln Maxim of Land O Lakes, FL, her step father Raymond Maxim of New Port Richey, FL and her dog Lilly along with close relative and friends.
