Wareham Works summit held in Town Hall

Wareham hosted the third annual Wareham Works Community and Economic Summit on Friday, March 30. This year's event promoted education as the link between Wareham residents and job advancement.

"The motif is education as your key to success, what you need to attain your goals in life, whether its community college or continuing education classes for adults," said Town Administrator Mark Andrews, who organized the event.

Representatives from Bristol Community College, Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce, and other educational and business organizations offered resources and information to event attendees.

Keynote speakers at Wareham Works included U.S. Congressman Bill Keating and president of Cape Cod Community College Kathleen Schatzberg.
