Three artists to display at Marion Council on Aging

MARION — Three friends who also are award-winning artists are set to display their works at the Marion Council On Aging where over 35 original pieces will be for sale.
Jennifer Cipriano of Marion, Jane Fitzgerald-Egan of Lakeville and Charles J. Wood of East Wareham will have their work on display.
Cipriano’s artistic experience includes a preference for the “Alla Prima” style of oil painting. She creates landscapes, botanical paintings, and animal renderings. She is a graduate of UMass Dartmouth, Collage of Fine Arts. She is a multiple art award winner from various regional shows.
Fitzgerald-Egan is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She is a member of the Marion Art Center, and Taunton Art Association. She has exhibited her work in many galleries, has received best in show awards, and has recently been juried into a national pastel show. She primarily works in pastel, oil pastel, and oil paint.
Wood is an oil pastel artist from East Wareham and has been working in this medium for over 20 years. A two-time graduate of the University of Connecticut in Art and Interior Design, his paintings have won awards in Connecticut, Florida and Massachusetts, as well as internationally as a signature member of the Oil Pastel Society.
The show runs through Aug. 27. Hours at the Marion Council on Aging are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.
