The Wareham Recycling center will hold a free paper shredding day on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will take place at the center’s location at the end of Plymouth Road. 

Shredding confidential documents helps to prevent identify theft, protect personal information and prevent valuable resources from being sent to the landfill, according to the center. The shredded paper will be recycled into new products. 

All are welcome; there is no disposal sticker or residence requirement. Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed, but paper needs to be removed from folders and binders.
