Wareham, State Police nab six on drug charges

Six people were arrested on Tuesday after a search of an East Wareham home yielded cocaine, heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and more than $4,000 in cash, according to police.
Wareham Police and State Police executed a search warrant at 259 Park Ave. at approximately 7:45 p.m. After the search, police arrested the following people:
- Michael Boyd, 53, of 259 Park Ave. was charged with knowingly being present where heroin is kept.
- Thomas Cox, 25, of 7 Cox Lane in Bourne was charged with possession of heroin and knowingly being present where heroin is kept.
- Brian Barron, 38, of 43 Tara Terrace in Bourne was charged with possession of Suboxone and knowingly being present where heroin is kept.
- Joshua Jenney, 31, of 166 Plymouth Ave. in East Wareham was charged with knowingly being present where heroin is kept.
- Geoffrey Chandler, 25, of 3030 Cranberry Highway, #32 in East Wareham was charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, and knowingly being present where heroin is kept.
- Karis Callanan, 20, of 24 Mooring Circle in Plymouth was charged with knowingly being present where heroin is kept.
The individuals arrested were expected to be arraigned in Wareham District Court on Wednesday.
