Basketball School, a 15 and under Amateur Athletic Union team with 50% of its players from Wareham, will be entering a local tournament at Tabor Academy on June 9 at Tabor Academy in Marion.

The team will also be entering into 2 national championships that will be held in Virginia on July 28 to 31.

"This is the first time ever a team with 50% percent Wareham kids is playing in two National Championships," said Basketball School coach Colbey Santos. "The kids are more then excited."

The team will be hosting fundraisers in the weeks leading up to the national championships, said Santos, "so the kids can make this wonderful trip that they have earned this year."
