It is intended to provide the opportunity for discovery, learning and play in a dynamic nautical environment. In addition to nautical skills, the program encourages children to develop characteristics such as team work, self-reliance, and responsibility through activities on and off the water. The program is designed for participants ages 8 to 15, and consists of full day, Monday-to-Friday week-long sessions, running 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. It costs $250 per week.
Half Day Sailing Camp

Those signing up for the program have the choice of morning sessions, running 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., or afternoon sessions, running 1 to 4 p.m. The cost is $150 per week.
Waterfront Training Academy
Waterfront Training Academy provides the opportunity for older children to become leaders in the Onset Bay Center’s programs, working alongside Lead and Junior Instructors, in a structured, camper-focused program. This program is designed for children ages 13-16 (As of June 24, 2024) who have previously participated in the Onset Bay Center’s programs. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and respectful role model who has a passion for and some experience in activities on the water, and an affinity for working with younger children. Academy participants will spend their days assisting groups of younger children in their daily lessons and activities, while receiving waterfront and group management training throughout the session. Activities may include kayaking, sailing, paddleboarding, canoeing, beach exploration, and more. The program will give participants a head start in training and certification for those interested in working in a waterfrotn role in the future, such as summer camps, sailing and community boating centers. This program has Monday-to-Friday week-long sessions, with a full day of 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
