Edward M. Feid Jr., 70, of Wareham passed away June 9 at the Tremont Rehab and Skilled Care Center. He is the husband of Cathryn S. (Anderson) More “Cathy” of Wareham.

Born in Milford, Edward is the son of the late Edward M. and Alice (Rice) Feid, Sr. They later moved to Franklin and Edward attended Franklin Public Schools.

A Vietnam veteran, Edward served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.

He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid sports fan. He loved his family friends and his Sunday A.A. group at the church of the Good Shepherd.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: James Feid and his wife Shelby of Wareham, Sharon Feid of Onset, and Edward M. “Teddy” Feid III of Wareham. He is the brother of Mary Ellen Feid and William Feid, both of Virginia. He is the grandfather of Alivia Feid, uncle of Paul, Laura, and Lynn, and brother of the late Charles Feid.
