The Wareham High School boys basketball team came out victorious in the first playoff game of the season against Cohasset High School Thursday night, Feb. 29.
The Vikings swiftly defeated their opponent 100-34.
Wareham remains first seed in the tournament, according to the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament Brackets.
Next, the boys will face off against Maimonides School, who are rank 17 and coming off a win against Lunenburg High School, 59-55.
The game will take place Tuesday, March 5 at 6 p.m. in the Wareham High School gym.
