Christopher Aaron Elicier, 43
Christopher Aaron Elicier, 43, of Wareham, died Saturday after injuries he sustained in an automobile accident on Route 495 while on his way to work. He was the loving husband of Cathleen M. (Cullen) Elicier. They were married for 19 years and together for 22 years.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived in Wareham all of his life. He graduated from Wareham High School in 1987.
Chris was a Mental Health Worker at Taunton State Hospital where he had worked for 22 years.
He was a loving, devoted, and caring husband and father. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. He enjoyed fishing and playing video games. He always enjoyed photography and was photographing weddings and other events.
Survivors include his widow, Cathleen M. (Cullen) Elicier; his sons, Jordan Michael and Ryan Christopher Elicier both at home; his parents, Jose R. Elicier, Jr. of Wareham and Annie R. (Fowler) Elicier of West Wareham; 2 brothers, Anthony Elicier of Wareham and Jose R. Elicier, III of Onset; his mother- and father-in-law, Patricia M. Cullen of Wareham and Michael Cullen of Falmouth; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He was the Godfather of Isaiah Lopes, Troy Fowler, Shyanne Gavaza, and Mia Harrison.
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 22 in The Wickenden Chapel at Tabor Academy, Spring Street, Marion.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham.
