Esther E. (Agnew) O’Leary, 98, of Kingston, formerly of Swifts Beach, passed away June 28 at the Wingate Nursing and Skilled Care Center in Kingston. She is the wife of the late Timothy J. O’Leary Sr.

Esther was born in Brookline, the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth (Hildritch) Agnew. She attended Brookline Public Schools and loved her family and friends.

While living in Wareham, she enjoyed gardening and quilting for the Wareham COA.

She is survived by her children, Thomas O’Leary of Bridgewater, Dottie Martinez of West Roxbury, Elly Francis of Frankfort, N.Y., Timothy J. O’Leary Jr. of South Yarmouth, and Elizabeth Smith of North Wilmington. She is the sister of Charles Agnew of Canton and is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many loving relatives and friends. She is the mother of the late Charles O’Leary and sister of the late David, Herbert, Gladys, and Ethel Agnew.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, July 3, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center Street, Wareham. Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury will be private.
