NEW BEDFORD - Cheryl Ann (Moore) Seidl 61, of New Bedford, passed away on July 13, 2024 at St. Lukes hospital, New Bedford surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of Michael Seidl and daughter of (late) John Moore and Patricia (Einsmann) Moore.

She was born in Needham and lived in Bellingham and Buzzards Bay before moving to New Bedford 8 years ago. She graduated from Bellingham High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Bristol Community College.

Cheri worked as a lab technician at Decas Cranberry where she took pride in her job and loved the people she worked with.

She loved her family, especially being Oma to her grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than spending time with them.

Cheri is survived by her husband Mike Seidl of New Bedford; her daughter Alisha Neal and her husband Matthew of Buzzards Bay; her son Mathew R. Putnam and his wife Corine of Brockton; her siblings, Bart Moore of NH, Richard Moore of Wareham and Janet Fletcher of Wareham; her best friend Renee Akins of Wareham; and 15 grandchildren.

Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
