ONSET - Amie (Savini) Spinello, 81, a former resident of Malden, Onset, and also lived in Beverly Hills, Florida died Friday, July 19, 2024. She was the wife of her predeceased husband Ronald J. Spinello Sr. who were married for 47 years.
Born in Italy July 23, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Agatha Savini. A graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1961, Amie and her husband Ronnie owned and operated Goldcraft Charms in the Jewelers Building in Boston for many years.
She was an accomplished quilter and won many awards for her artistic craftsmanship. She also enjoyed painting, hand applique, cooking, gardening, Onset Beach, and bingo.
In addition to her parents and husband, Amie was also predeceased by her daughter, Dawn M. Ellis, her stepdaughter, Lisa Spinello, and one of her brothers Richard Savini.
Amie is survived by her beloved and cherished family; her daughter Loryanne Ellis of Onset; her son David Ellis of Georgetown; her two stepsons, Ronald J. Spinello Jr. and John J. Spinello; her dearly beloved grandchildren; Krystina and Ralph Faia Jr. and her great granddaughter Milana, Dylan R. Larrow, Justin D. Ellis, Amber Spindler, Jennifer Hare, and several great grandchildren; her brother, Frank and Karen Savini; her nephew Frank and Tania Savini Jr., and her niece, Carla and Kurt Tunstall.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 at St. Mary's Church, Onset Ave and Onset Bay Lane at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Amie’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
