Robert “Bobby” Bernard Mahan, 33
WAREHAM – Robert “Bobby” Bernard Mahan, 33, of West Wareham, passed away on November 12, 2024, at Boston Medical Center, Boston. He was the son of Bernard “Bud” R. and Catherine “Cathy” A. (Cleary) Mahan.
He was born in Wareham and lived there his whole life. He graduated from Wareham High School. He excelled in sports and was a lefty pitcher in Little League and High School. He also played as a quarterback in football and played soccer and basketball when he was younger.
He worked as a self-employed landscaper in the area.
Bobby enjoyed fishing, dirt bike riding, and landscaping.
Bobby had the biggest heart. He would do anything he could for anyone, especially his mom. They shared such a deep bond with unconditional love for each other. They had each other’s hearts.
Survivors include his parents, Bernard “Bud” R. and Catherine “Cathy” A. (Cleary) Mahan of West Wareham; a daughter, Makayla Mahan; 2 brothers, Joseph A. Mahan of Wareham and Michael Mahan of Westwood; his grandmother, Frances Mahan of North Providence, RI; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
His graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Center Cemetery, Wareham.
