Wareham voters will elect eight candidates to various town committees and positions on May 6 in the annual town election.

Open seats include two three-year terms on the Select Board, a three-year term on the School Committee and a three-year term for Moderator.

Also on the ballot is a three-year term on the Board of Assessors, a one-year unexpired term for Non-Sewer User Commissioner, a three-year term for Sewer User Commissioner and a five-year term on the Housing Authority.

Nomination papers became available Feb. 13. The last day to submit papers is March 18.

April 28 is the last day to register to vote and still be eligible to fill out a ballot on May 6.
