To the Editor:

On behalf of the Wareham St*tch and B*tch Group, we would like to thank all who made the recent Fabric and Fiber Fundraiser for the Friends of the Wareham Free Library such a resounding success. We were able to raise over $5,000, well beyond everyone's hopes and expectations.

We are grateful to the many, many people who donated yarn and fabrics - from small amounts to truckloads. We are grateful to the volunteers who sorted, measured, labeled and transported, as well as those who worked for several days displaying, selling and then cleaning up the materials, to Matt Stanton and the WHS Key Club members who volunteered their time and muscle, and of course the Friends of the Wareham Free Library, who agreed to host the event in spite of their initial skepticism.

Once again, thank you to the community for coming together to support our wonderful library.
