Patrick S. Roberson, 72, truck driver for Nemasket Sand & Gravel
Patrick S. Roberson, 72, died Thursday, September 13, at his home in West Wareham after a long illness. He was the husband of Caroline M. (Blair) Roberson.
Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Albert L. & Adeline I. (Duarte) Roberson.
A former resident of Florida, New York, Middleboro and Raynham, he has lived in Wareham since 1998. He was employed as a truck driver for Nemasket Sand and Gravel.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mike Roberson and his wife Mary of Brockton, and Rick Roberson of Bridgewater; two daughters, Shirley Thomas of Jay, NY, and Michelle Reiman of Plymouth; two brothers, Donald Roberson and his wife Alice of Raynham, and Francis Roberson and his wife Grace of Wellfleet; five sisters, Mona Leathers of IL, Claire Galuski of E. Taunton, Margaret Roberson of Wareham, Linda Conlon and her husband Peter of Plymouth, and Barbara Anderson of Wareham; his mother in-law, Rita Rosato of Wareham; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Albert and John Roberson
His funeral was held Monday. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
