Plant new memories at the Harvest Moon Festival

Live music and the rumblings of classic, vintage and new cars will be heard as a celebration of the end of summer and beginning of the harvest season takes over Onset.
The Onset Bay Association is hosting their annual Harvest Moon Festival Saturday, Sept. 27. Vendors, a car show, food trucks and live music will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The car show presented by the Rusty Nuts Car Club of Wareham will be held on the Onset Pier. Participants in the show should arrive before 10 a.m., space is limited to 300 cars with dash plaques for the first 125 cars.
Live music will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the bandshell from Daddy O! 50’s Rockabilly Swing, G and Friends, Rack ‘Em Up and Neal McCarthy and Friends.
Over 100 craft, merchandise and service vendors will line the perimeter of Prospect Park with 12 food vendors in attendance. The festival will also include balloon art, face painting and caricatures.
Limited street parking is available with free parking at Hynes Field and the Temple Lot on Union Avenue. Please be advised of the road closures along Onset Avenue from Marc Anthony's to the Condos at 185 Onset Ave and up Union Avenue to the 10th Street.
The rain date for the festival is Sunday, Sept. 28.
