Five players from last season’s Wareham Gatemen were recognized as some of the Cape Cod League’s best players in 2025.

Designated hitter Levi Clark, utility player Caden McDonald and pitcher Josh Butler were named to the all league first team, making them three of the league’s best 18 players.

First basemen Chris McHugh and outfielder Chase Krewson were named to the all cape league second team.

The Wareham Gatemen are an amateur baseball league in the Cape Cod League, a summer baseball league for college players to play in front of Major League Baseball scouts.
