Minot Forest third-graders present "living wax museum"
May 1, 2010
Abigail Adams, Rachel Fuller Brown, Jonathan Chapman, Samuel Adams... What do these historical men and women have in common?
They are all from Massachusetts and were recently portrayed by students from Minot Forest Elementary in a "living wax museum."
Nancy Barry's third graders were assigned a Bay-Stater to research, and the students had to prepare a poster about the historical figure's life. Students also wrote speeches and designed costumes to "become" that person.
The class did well with their wax museum. The historical figures came alive.
