A total of 22 Wareham High School students were inducted into the Ruth Tompkins chapter of the National Honor Society Thursday, Jan. 16.

“The students inducted reflect Wareham High School's 21st century learning expectations,” said Wareham High School Principal Scott Palladino.

To be inducted, students must maintain a GPA of at least 90, be leaders in their school and community, and volunteer in the community.

“They have prepared themselves for further academic and occupational opportunities, are socially responsible, and have a commitment to the community,” Palladino added.

The four pillars of the National Honor Society are character, leadership, service, and scholarship.

“Above all, these students serve as role models for all of the students at Wareham High School to emulate,” said Palladino.

The inductees are chosen by faculty. They are:

Grade 12: Chelsea Anderson, Samuel Brogioli, Catherine Dumas, Kiana Fontes, Cindy Pham, Allyson Wade, Christopher White
