Another week, another grand opening in Wareham Crossing! Clothing store rue21 is the newest tenant at the shopping center, opening its doors on May 13.

"Our stores appeal to all who have a flair for fashion," said rue21 Center Marketing Coordinator Kelly Evanovich.

Rue21 offers a full line of clothing, accessories, and fragrances for girls and guys, and the number "21" in the name is a nod to its customers. "Rue21 customers range from [age] 11 to [the] 17-year-old teen who aspires to be 21, and the adult customer who also aspires to be 21," Evanovich said.

Evanovich said that the company was attracted to Wareham Crossing because it is a "regional draw."  With no enclosed malls in the immediate area,  Wareham Crossing has turned "into the destination for the weekly shopping trip."

Rue21's Wareham Crossing location is one of three in Massachusetts. Rue21 operates more than 500 stores across the United States.
