Warren J. Boyd, 63
Warren J. Boyd, 63, of Lewiston, Maine, and formerly of Onset, died April 2 at the Hospice House in Auburn, Maine, surrounded by his soulmate, Mary Kay Marston, close friend Milene Cyr, and a family member.
Born in Wareham, he was the son of the late Lorraine Boyd Chepren and the late George H. Boyd, Sr., and the stepson of the late Reno A. Chepren.
He leaves a son, Joshua Boyd and his former wife Diana Boyd of Iowa. He was the brother of Phyllis Boyd Reuille of Maine and husband Tom, George H. Boyd, Jr., and wife Charlotte of Florida, Virginia Boyd Eldridge of Carver, Ronald Chepren and wife Joyce of Sagamore Beach; Robert Chepren of Wareham; Marilyn Chepren Stetkis and husband Julius of Maine; John Chepren and wife Fran of Middleborough; Judi Chepren Wills and husband Lewis of Maine, and Jeanne Chepren Vashaw and husband John of New Hampshire.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He also leaves many treasured friends from the Lewiston/Auburn, Maine, area, especially the brotherhood of the 5th Chapter MC, of which he was a member since 1985.
Warren served in the Army in Vietnam, and over the years, operated his own carpentry business, "In the Spirit."
Warren was a very spiritual person and helped many people who were in need through AA in his 24 years of being clean and sober.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 14, at 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 67 Park Street, Lewiston, Maine 04240.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Hospice House of Androscoggin, 236 Stetson Road, Auburn, ME 04210.
A second memorial service will be held in Onset, the place he always called "home," at a later date this summer.
