New Bedford Symphony Orchestra Announces 2026–2027 Season
A Season of Powerful Escapes, Shared Experiences, and Transformative Music
In a world that rarely slows down, the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra invites South Coast audiences to pause, breathe, and reconnect through a new season designed to help people relax, recharge, and restore.
The NBSO's 2026–2027 season offers seven unforgettable concerts, including the treasured Holiday Pops and the wildly popular Movie Pops, each created to transport audiences beyond the demands of everyday life and into experiences filled with beauty, emotion, and wonder.
Now entering his 10th season as Music Director, Yaniv Dinur leads a season that ranges from gripping drama and breathtaking virtuosity to nostalgic movie music, holiday celebration, and some of the most beloved works ever written.
"People come to the symphony for many reasons," said Dinur. "Some come seeking excitement, some come seeking comfort, some come seeking connection. What unites us is the opportunity to experience something powerful together—to leave feeling different than when we arrived."
All 2026-2027 Season Concerts take place at the historic and newly transformed Zeiterion, Southcoast Massachusetts’ premier nonprofit performing arts center.
