7-Eleven robbed by man armed with syringe

A masked man holding a syringe robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store on Cranberry Highway in East Wareham around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, according to Wareham Police.
The suspect demanded money from the female clerk and fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash, police said. The clerk was not harmed in the incident.
The man is described as a thin, white male, approximately 5'7", who appeared to be in his early 20s.
Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call the Wareham Police Detective Division at 508-295-1206 or send information via the department's Text-A-Tip program by texting 274637 (CRIMES) and beginning the text with "warehampd."
