Wareham Middle School 8th graders are now able to join the high school tennis and track teams.

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) approved the addition of 8th graders to the high school tennis and track rosters late last year, after participation made it difficult for the high school to field teams.

Students have to meet the district's academic requirements and pay sports "user fees" in order to participate on the high school teams.
