A great abolitionist comes to Wareham

The Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road, will be hosting an evening with author Stephen Puleo Wednesday, March. 4 at 6:30 p.m.
Puleo is an author, historian, teacher, public speaker, and communications professional. He is the author of eight books including his most recent, "The Great Abolitionist: Charles Sumner and the Fight for a More Perfect Union", published in 2024, and nominated for the Mark Lynton History Prize offered by the Columbia School of Journalism and Harvard’s Nieman Foundation for Journalism.
He is currently at work on his ninth book.
Copies of his books will be available for purchase and signing. Program is free and no registration is required.
