Candidates in the two contested races in Wareham’s upcoming May 5 town election spoke and answered questions at Candidates Night on Thursday, April 30. The event was streamed live and recorded by Wareham Media. Click on the above video to hear what the candidates had to say.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5.
For the Select Board, Judith Whiteside and member Sarah Corbitt are seeking re-election. They are being challenged by former Select Board member Jim Munise. Voters will be asked to cast two votes in the race. Candidates with the two highest tallies will win the seats.
Similarly in the School Committee contest, incumbents Joyce Bacchiocchi and Kevin Brogioli are seeking reelection and being challenged by Nancy Cederholm and Jordan Johnson. Voters will be asked to cast two votes, with the two highest counts winning the contest.
