AD Makepeace will hold its 12th annual Cranberry Harvest Celebration Oct. 10 and 11.

The festival will showcase how the state grows berries, and feature food, live music, crafting, paddleboat rides on Tihonet Pond, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities, and more.

Attendees can also hop on a complimentary bus for a short ride to a stretch of cranberry bogs where experienced growers will explain the harvest process.

Visitors may also take part in the popular “bog in a cup” activity for children, and view a birds of prey demonstration.

Admission is $10, $5 for children, seniors, and military. Children under 7 are admitted free. Parking and most activities are also free. For details, driving directions, and more, visit www.admakepeace.com.
