Select Board member Alan Slavin was unanimously re-elected as the Chair of the Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District (SRPEDD) at the group’s annual meeting on May 25.

He was also given the 2022 Distinguished Service Award, which honored his leadership and service to SRPEDD over the years.

The organization covers 27 towns in the region and is responsible for coordinating regional planning of transportation, economic development, environmental and land use. It also provides grant-writing and other technical support to member towns.
