Anne H. Higgins, of Yarmouth Port, died at age 80 at Care One nursing facility in New Bedford on
November 27, 2022.

Anne was born in Wareham to the late Lorrimer and Elizabeth Higgins. She attended Wareham schools
and sang in the choir at First Congregational Church of Wareham.

She graduated from Wareham High School in 1960.
Anne was a graduate of Becker College, where she earned a degree in retail marketing.

She then moved to New York to pursue her career as a buyer at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Anne returned to Wareham briefly then moved “over the bridge” to Marstons Mills before settling in
Yarmouth Port.

While living on the Cape she entered her second career with New England
Telephone/Verizon, where she worked until retirement.

Anne loved fashion and had a wonderful sense of humor.

She was always ready to laugh and could find the humor in most situations. She enjoyed birdwatching expeditions at Cape Cod Museum of
Natural History in Brewster.
Anne was preceded in death by her sister Marcia L. Higgins (Kuykendall) Christensen, and her niece Linda Verdugo of Norwalk, Ca. She is survived by her nieces Cynthia Kuykendall, Jamie Cowell, and Nancy Kuykendall of California.

A Graveside Service will to be held at Centre Cemetery, Tihonet Road, Wareham, Thursday December
29 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends invited.
