Bourne man faces multiple drug charges after passing out in car
A 33-year-old Bourne man was arrested on Sept. 14 after Wareham Police found him passed out in his car possibly from a drug overdose.
Police and Wareham EMS responded to 5 Guys restaurant at approximately 7 p.m. after receiving a report that the man, Doug Crabtree Jr., was passed out in his car.
Police said that during the investigation, officers located three plastic baggies containing approximately 7 grams of suspected heroin and two baggies containing approximately 4 grams of suspected Fentanyl, along with three suspected Oxycodone pills wrapped in a dollar bill, two crushed Quetiapine Fumarate pills, and 15 Clonazepam pills. A used syringe was also found on the driver side floor of the vehicle, according to police.
Crabtree was transported to Tobey Hospital by Wareham EMS and has been criminally charged with the following offenses: possession with intent to distribute Class B substance (fentanyl); possession with intent to distribute Class B substance (oxycodone); possession with intent to distribute Class A substance (heroin); possession with intent to distribute Class C substance (clonazepam).
