The next meeting of the Bourne-Wareham Art Association will be held on Tuesday, May 13 at 1 p.m. at the Bourne Library. Following the election of officers for the coming year, there will be an oil pastel demonstration by association member Judy Rose, an award-winning artist from Lakeville.

Judy graduated from the Art Institute of Boston in 1972. An experienced pastel artist, she studied portraiture with Connie Pratt and Katherine Smit as well as oil portraits with Mick Microrelli at the South Shore Arts Center in Cohasset. Today Judy continues her work in both soft and oil pastels and does commercial graphic arts at her home.
