Boy Scouts hold annual Blue and Gold Banquet, promote several scouts

Cub Scout Pack 39 held its annual Blue and Gold Banquet on Saturday, February 28, with several scouts being promoted to higher ranks.
The event included the crossover bridge ceremony for Webelos IIs to transition into the Boy Scout program.There was also a cake-decorating contest, a raffle, awards and rank advancements.
Several of the boys that were promoted into Troop 39 also earned the Arrow of Light Award and were recognized with a special handmade wooden plaque.
Troop 39 welcomed five new boys scouts: Liam Scott, Douglas Santos, Jr., Kyle Finn, Adam Forrest, Jared Forrest.
The event took place at the Parish Hall at St. Patrick’s Church on High Street in Wareham. The parish has sponsors both Pack and Troop 39.
