Brian Michael Gomes, 45 years young
Born in Wareham, Ma on July 31,1979 to his beloved parents Joseph "Mikey" Gomes Jr, and Dale Frye both of Wareham, MA. Brian had lived in Maryland for many years and passed away after a brief illness at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Springs MD on February 14, 2025

Brian was a CDL truck driver and truly enjoyed taking in all of the sights as he drove across the country. He will be remembered for his love of music, his singing, his strong faith in God and his great sense of humor. He was proud of both his Cape Verdean and Native American heritages and was a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.

Brian was the proud father to his three daughters, Crystal Craig of Maryland, Patricia Sanchez of Virginia and Brianna Trusty of Texas. He was looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild, a granddaughter.

Along with his parents and children he leaves behind his brothers David "DJ" Frye and wife Alicia of Falmouth, MA, Leslie Andrade and his wife Kendra of West Wareham, MA. His sisters Nikkisha and Sheena Gomes of Buzzards Bay, MA. His maternal grandfather Curtis Frye Sr. and wife Lisa of Mashpee, Paternal grandparents Joseph Gomes Sr of New Bedford and Dorothy Gomes of Connecticut. His former wife Monique Abbitt of Maryland. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Clarice Frye.

Please join us for the Celebration of his Life on March 22, 2025 from 1pm - 5pm at the Mashpee Wampanoag Government Center located at 483 Great Neck Road South, Mashpee MA.
