A 19-year-old Brockton man was killed Monday night in a rollover crash on Rte. 495 Northbound in Wareham.

State troopers responded to the crash just after 10 p.m., and found that Ajani Mitchell’s car had rolled off the left side of the roadway and into the woods, leaving Mitchell trapped inside near the .2 mile marker.

Mitchell was transported to Tobey Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, and Mitchell was the only occupant of his car, a 2020 Nissan Rouge.

The crash is under investigation by State Police. Wareham Fire, Police, and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene, as did the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
