Those interested in biking for clean water are invited to participate in the 15th annual Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride, which will take place on Sunday, Oct. 3.

Registration for the Buzzard Bay Coalition’s annual fundraiser will close on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 11:59 p.m.

Participants can choose from routes of various lengths — 100, 75, or 35-miles. The routes travel through “farmland, villages, cityscapes, cranberry bogs, and coastal country backroads,” according to the Buzzards Bay Coalition, and end “in Woods Hole overlooking beautiful Buzzards Bay.”

For a preview of the course, see the 2019 map, linked here, which covers all three routes.

The ride raises funds to help clean the water in Buzzards Bay. In addition to paying a $55 registration fee, each rider will raise a minimum of $300.

“Enjoy the scenic landscapes of the South Coast while raising funds for clean water in Buzzards Bay,” the coalition said, promoting the event. “Bring your friends, form a team, and join us on Oct. 3!”
