Campaign office opened in Wareham
A Coordinated Campaign Office was opened by the Wareham Democratic Town Committee last Sunday afternoon with State Sen. Marc Pacheco and U.S. Rep. Bill Keating presiding at the honors.
Scott Vecchi, candidate for Plymouth County commissioner, was also present as were representatives from the campaigns of Deb Goldberg, Matt McDonough, Maura Healy and Martha Coakley. The announcement coincided with an informal gathering to "Meet and Greet" Sen. Pacheco, which was hosted by Stephen Baptiste, proprietor of The Pier View Restaurant.
The campaign office is located at 205 Onset Ave., in Onset Village and will be staffed by volunteers from the community and committee during the month of October. The office has campaign literature, lawn signs and bumper stickers for all the democratic candidates and information on the ballot questions.
The office will also be open every Thursday evening from 5 to 8:30 p.m. during the month of October for phone banking.
Any interested volunteers or members of the community who wish to access the materials in the office are encouraged to contact John Donahue at (508) 846-9596.
