WAREHAM – Candace N. Vieira, 52, of Wareham, died Sunday, March 16, 2025 unexpectedly.  She was the wife of the late Jayson M. Vieira.

Born in Wareham, she was the daughter of Morise Gregg Robinson of Beaufort, SC and Patricia A. O'Hayre of Newton.  Candace graduated from Bishop Stang High School in Dartmouth and received her bachelor's degree from UMass Dartmouth.  She was currently attending UMass School of Law to receive her law degree.

For over 20 years, Candace was tax preparer and manager for H & R Block at their office on Acushnet Ave. in New Bedford.  Currently, she was the owner of A Kina Financial Services.

Candace enjoyed cooking, sports betting, shopping, and spending time with her grandson and her dog.

She is survived by her daughter, Lexus Robinson-Matthews of New Bedford; her father and step-mother, Morise Gregg Robinson and Annie Robinson of Beaufort, SC; her mother, Patricia O'Hayre of Newton; and her grandson, Keanu Anthony of New Bedford.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Chapman Funerals and Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4 – 7 PM.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 10 AM at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Center Cemetery, Wareham.
