CapeFLYER service to begin Memorial Day weekend

May 10, 2022

The CapeFLYER’s summer service from Hyannis to Boston — with a stop off Main Street in Wareham — will begin on Memorial Day Weekend.

The service runs Friday nights and on Saturdays and Sundays through Labor Day, and is operated by the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority. In Wareham, the passengers will board and disembark at the station behind the fire station on Main Street in Wareham Village.

Pets are welcome on the train, and bikes ride free. Free wi-fi is available.

Tickets from Boston to Wareham cost $20 one way or $35 round-trip, while tickets to ride between Wareham and Hyannis cost $5 one way or $8 round-trip. Registration is not required.

Tickets are available for purchase through the official MBTA mTicket App and at the booth at South Station. Kids 11 and under ride free with an adult. Those with Senior CharlieCards or Transportation Access Pass CharlieCards can ride for half-off.

On Sunday, May 29, all veterans and active military personnel are invited for a free round-trip on the CapeFLYER with a guest. Veterans will be brought to the Hyannis Transportation Center, where shuttles will be on hand to take passengers to the 18th Annual Troops in the Spotlight event. Register online at capeflyer.com.
