Carl “Billy” Bergenheim 56 of Delaware, formerly of Wareham,  passed away suddenly Tuesday March 25, 2025 at the hospital in Kent, DE surrounded by his family.

Billy’s love was the ocean. He loved boating, meeting new people and traveling with his wife. He loved playing board games with his friends and spending time with his family.

Billy attended Bristol Community College where he studied accounting and finance as well as Johnson and Wales University where he majored in business administration, management and operations.

Billy was a terminal manager for PGT trucking from 1990-2022 and was a director of transportation from 2022 until his retirement for DOT Foods.

Billy is survived by his loving wife Kristina (Bettencourt), his children Sylvia Bergenheim, Katie Bergenheim (Noah), Abbey Bergenheim (Ryan), his stepchildren Ashley Searle (Shelby), Allison Wallace, Tyler Wallace and Connor Wallace as well as his grandchildren Everett, CJ, and Ginnie Searle. He also leaves behind his parents Carl and Mary Bergenheim, his sister Michele Traham (Lucky) and his sister in law Lori Westgate (Paul).He is also survived as well by many beloved nephews, nieces and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
