Carol A. Perry, 81, of Wareham, died Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleboro.

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Alfred R. and Helen M. (Baker) Halstead. Mrs. Perry was a graduate of New Bedford High School and worked as medical secretary for Wareham Medical Associates for many years.

Survivors include her daughter Christine Conway and her husband Trey of Wareham; her son Shaune Perry and his wife Nancy of Sandwich; her brothers, Donald Baker of New Bedford, and Thomas Halstead of N. Dartmouth;  her grandchildren, Zachary Perry, Samantha Perry and Tyler Ancahas; and her great grandchildren, Sirena and Brayden.  She was predeceased by her son, the late Matthew Perry.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham on Wed., Sept. 23, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m.  (Appropriate COVID-19 protocol will be observed including the use of face masks, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity).  Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thurs., Sept. 24, at St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham, at 10 a.m.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
