Celebrate Independence Day with local history at antique faire

The Wareham Historical Society is hosting their 45th Annual Antique Faire on Tuesday, July 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Antiques will be at the Village Green (Center Park) on Main Street and in the Methodist Meeting House, 495 Main Street. The admission gate is at the corner of Main Street, across from the Meeting House. Entry costs $5.00 for adults and children 12 years and under are free. The Fearing Tavern tour is included in the admission fee and will be open from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. There will be food and drink for sale at the Meeting House.
Frank McNamee, owner of Marion Antiques, will provide appraisals in the Meeting House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A one item appraisal is $5.00 and three items are $10.00. The proceeds will be donated to the Wareham Historical Society. Find out what that attic item or newly-purchased trinket is worth from a well-known local professional.
