Charles Laquidara visits Wareham for WCTV production

Feb 17, 2011

Former WBCN disc jockey Charles Laquidara stopped by the Dudley L. Brown VFW Post in Onset on Wednesday, February 16, to make a guest appearance on Wareham Community Television's weekly live concert series, Feel the Music.

Feel the Music Live executive director Bruce Gannon invited Laquidara, who currently lives in Hawaii, before the show began in November. The deejay indicated he'd be back in his home state this month, and agreed to visit.

During the show, Laquidara and Feel the Music host Kat Jones chatted with the members of the evening's band, Jesse Jack'son.

"It was pretty cool," Gannon said. "I think it all worked out pretty nicely."

There are six shows left in Feel the Music's season. All are welcome to attend the free concerts, which begin at 8 p.m. every Wednesday at the VFW. The concerts also air live on WCTV's public channel, Comcast channel 9, Verizon channel 30.
