A Chipotle restaurant and an as-yet-unknown retailer will round out the three-building development in front of Walmart, developers told the Planning Board on Monday night.

The other two buildings host an Aspen Dental (now open) and a Starbucks with a drive-thru window (opening soon).

The Chipotle will be a 37-seat restaurant with what Chipotle rep Kathy McVane called a “Chipot-lane:” a drive-thru pick-up window for those picking up mobile and phone orders. The drive-thru would not be the traditional model with a menu board and speaker system for ordering. Instead, it would only be used by people who had already ordered and paid for their food.

The “Chipot-lane” must be approved by the Zoning Board of Appeals. 

The fast-casual Mexican restaurant would share a building with a retailer of some kind. That tenant has not yet been identified.

The hearing was continued to March 8.
